Product Overview
The ADM42S is an RS485-based stepper motor controller for NEMA17 and NEMA23 frame motors. Featuring Modbus RTU communication protocol, the ADM42S enables networked motion control with parameter configuration, position/speed control, and status monitoring over a simple two-wire RS485 bus. Operating on 12-48V DC with output current from 1.0A to 4.5A.
The ADM42S supports up to 32 devices on a single RS485 bus, drastically reducing wiring complexity compared to traditional pulse/direction control. The built-in motion controller handles acceleration profiles, position targets, and speed commands internally, offloading these tasks from the central PLC or host controller.
