Integrated Stepper Motors (IG Series)
The IG series integrated stepper motors combine a stepper motor, driver, and 1000-line incremental encoder into a single compact housing. This all-in-one design significantly simplifies system integration by eliminating the need for external motor drivers, reducing wiring complexity, and saving valuable panel space. Available in NEMA8 through NEMA34 frame sizes, the IG series supports both Pulse/Direction and RS485 communication control methods.
The IG series is available in two primary variants: Pulse/Direction type and RS485 communication type. The Pulse/Direction variant accepts standard step and direction signals from any motion controller, making it a drop-in replacement for conventional motor-plus-driver setups. The RS485 variant adds full communication capability using the Modbus RTU protocol, enabling parameter configuration, position/speed control, and status monitoring over a simple two-wire bus.
