RS485 / Modbus RTU Integrated Stepper Motors (AR Series)
The AR series integrated stepper motors combine a stepper motor, driver, encoder, and RS485 or Modbus RTU communication interface into a single compact housing. These intelligent motion control solutions are designed for networked automation systems where multiple axes must be controlled over a simple two-wire bus, dramatically reducing wiring complexity and panel space requirements.
The AR series supports both RS485 (proprietary protocol) and Modbus RTU (standard industrial protocol) communication, providing flexibility for integration with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs. Each motor can be configured with a unique node address, enabling up to 32 devices on a single RS485 bus. The built-in program storage allows standalone operation with pre-programmed motion sequences.
