AR42 Modbus RTU Integrated Stepper Motor (NEMA17)
Product Overview
The AR42 Modbus RTU is a NEMA17 (42mm) integrated stepper motor that combines motor, driver, and 1000-line encoder with native Modbus RTU communication. Designed for seamless integration with industrial PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, the AR42 Modbus delivers holding torque from 0.25 N·m to 0.80 N·m while supporting the industry-standard Modbus RTU protocol over RS485.
The Modbus RTU implementation enables direct connection to virtually any industrial controller without custom protocol development. Standard Modbus function codes provide access to all motion parameters including position, speed, acceleration, current, and microstep resolution. The built-in 1000-line encoder provides closed-loop feedback, eliminating missed steps and enabling smooth motion up to 3000 RPM.
The AR42 Modbus operates on 12-48V DC and includes three digital inputs for limit switches and sensors, plus one digital output for alarm or status indication. The built-in program storage enables standalone operation with pre-configured sequences, reducing dependence on the host controller for repetitive operations.
