The AR57 Modbus RTU is a NEMA23 (57mm) integrated stepper motor featuring native Modbus RTU communication for direct integration with industrial control systems. This all-in-one solution combines a stepper motor, driver, and 1000-line encoder in a single 57mm package, delivering holding torque from 0.60 N·m to 2.50 N·m with full Modbus RTU protocol support.

The Modbus RTU implementation allows the AR57 to communicate directly with industrial PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.) without requiring protocol converters or custom software. Standard Modbus function codes provide read/write access to all motion control parameters. Up to 247 Modbus slave devices can be addressed on a single RS485 bus with proper repeater configuration.

The built-in 1000-line encoder ensures closed-loop positional integrity, critical for industrial applications where missed steps can cause costly production errors. The AR57 Modbus operates on 12-48V DC with driver current up to 4.5A. Digital inputs accept 3.3-24V DC for direct sensor connection, and the alarm output provides real-time fault indication to the host controller.
