The NEMA24 (HS24) is a robust 60mm × 60mm frame stepper motor designed for industrial applications requiring higher torque than NEMA23 can provide within a moderate footprint. Adampower's HS24 series features motor lengths from 45mm to 90mm with holding torque ranging from 0.50 N·m to 2.60 N·m, making it ideal for machinery applications where NEMA34 would be oversized but NEMA23 insufficient.
The HS24 series includes twelve models with various stack lengths and winding configurations. Compact models like the 24HS4425 (45mm, 0.85 N·m) serve applications with limited space, while medium-stack versions such as the 24HS5430 (56mm, 1.60 N·m) and 24HS6430 (64mm, 1.80 N·m) provide the optimal balance for most general-purpose industrial needs. Extended-length models like the 24HS9430 (90mm, 2.60 N·m) deliver maximum torque for the most demanding NEMA24 applications.
The electrical characteristics are optimized for 24V-48V drive systems commonly used in industrial control panels. Rated currents range from 0.4A for high-voltage configurations to 5.0A for low-voltage high-torque operation. The 8mm shaft diameter provides increased rigidity and torque transmission capability compared to the NEMA23's 6.35mm shaft. With 1.8° step angle and ±5% accuracy, the HS24 series delivers precise positioning for medium-to-heavy industrial automation tasks.
