Product Overview
The NEMA34 (HS34) represents the highest torque tier in Adampower's open-loop stepper motor lineup, featuring a robust 86mm × 86mm frame with motor lengths from 66mm to 150mm. This series delivers exceptional holding torque ranging from 1.20 N·m to an outstanding 12.00 N·m, making it the preferred choice for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring maximum power, rigidity, and reliability.
The HS34 series includes over 20 models across multiple stack lengths. Short-to-medium length motors (66mm to 78mm) like the 34HS6828 and 34HS7835 provide substantial torque for moderate heavy-load applications. Longer motors (98mm) such as the 34HS9840 deliver high torque for continuous-duty industrial machines. Extended-stack models (113mm to 150mm) including the 34HS1820, 34HS1860, and 34HS5860 provide the ultimate in torque output, approaching the performance of small servo motors in a stepper motor form factor.
The HS34 motors feature larger 14mm diameter shafts for maximum torque transmission, robust 8-lead or 4-lead wiring configurations, and substantial rotor inertias that provide inherent stability in high-inertia load applications. The wide range of rated currents (1.6A to 7.8A) and voltages allows pairing with appropriate high-power stepper drivers. With the same 1.8° step angle accuracy as the entire Adampower range, the HS34 series delivers the precision of a stepper motor at torque levels typically associated with much more expensive servo systems.
