Description

[edit]

The IS14 series integrated motor is the perfect combination of a stepper motor and drive technology, engineered into a single compact unit. It features a built-in, battery-free 1023-turn mechanical absolute encoder, eliminating the need for external encoders or backup batteries.

This design saves significant installation space while simultaneously reducing design and production costs. The motor supports RS485 instruction control, allowing seamless integration into networked automation systems. With a wide operating voltage range of 8-36V and adjustable driver current from 0.2 to 2.0A, it is highly versatile for various low-to-medium torque applications.

The IS14 offers multiple control methods including RS485, Pulse and Direction, Twin-Pulse, I/O, and Built-in Program, making it suitable for a broad range of motion control requirements. Configuration parameters are stored in non-volatile FLASH memory within the MCU, ensuring settings are retained after power loss.
