The IS17A series integrated motor perfectly combines stepper motor and drive technology into a single, space-saving unit. It incorporates a battery-free 1023-turn mechanical absolute encoder, providing reliable position feedback without the need for external sensors or backup batteries.

Designed to save installation space and reduce both design and production costs, the IS17A series supports RS485 instruction control for easy integration into distributed motion control systems. With a working voltage range of 8-50VDC (recommended 36VDC) and adjustable current from 0.2 to 3.2A, it covers a wide range of NEMA17 applications.

The motor achieves an accuracy of 4000 pulses per revolution and offers multiple control modes including RS485, Pulse and Direction, Twin-Pulse, I/O, and built-in program execution. The device ID is easily configured via DIP switches SW1-SW5, and SW6 controls the 120 Ohm termination resistor.
