The NEMA17 RS485 Stepper Motor Driver (AR42) is a versatile stepper motor drive with RS485 MODBUS-RTU communication. Designed for the popular NEMA17 (42mm) frame size, it can be used as a standalone driver or combined with a NEMA17 motor as an integrated system.

The AR42 features a 32-bit DSP processor for advanced current control, delivering smooth and quiet motor operation. Communication via MODBUS-RTU over RS485 allows direct connection to industrial control systems and supports multi-axis networking with individual addressing.

This driver is ideal for distributed automation systems where multiple axes need to be controlled over a single communication bus, such as conveyors, packaging machines, pick-and-place systems, and laboratory automation.
