The NEMA23 RS-485 Integrated Stepper Motor (IRO23) is a sophisticated all-in-one motion solution for the NEMA23 (57mm) frame size. It combines a high-performance stepper motor with a closed-loop RS-485 driver featuring MODBUS-RTU communication protocol.

Unlike basic integrated motors, the IRO23 includes encoder-based closed-loop feedback, ensuring reliable position maintenance even under varying loads. The RS-485 interface supports daisy-chain networking of multiple axes over a single communication bus, with individual addressing for each axis.

The IRO23 features advanced 32-bit DSP control algorithms for smooth, quiet, and efficient operation. Vector current control minimizes torque ripple, while closed-loop feedback eliminates the risk of missed steps.
