The UIM242 series is a miniature CAN bus stepper motor controller (42.3mm x 42.3mm x 14.5mm) that fits directly onto motors or works standalone.

Supports CAN2.0 A/B with 2-wire differential interface at up to 1Mbps and up to 100 nodes. Current options: 0-2A (L02), 1.5-4A (C04), 3-8A (C08) with 1-16 micro-stepping.

Features an embedded DSP with 64-bit precision, absolute position recording, power-failure protection, S-curve accel/decel, PT/PVT control, and backlash compensation. 3 sensor inputs, 1 analog input (12-bit), 1 TTL output, 6 motion parameter groups, and 13 programmable actions.
